Corrupt Democrat Faces Charges of Lying and Abuse!

Schiff

The Republican controlled House of Representatives voted to “censure” California Democrat Adam Schiff. He plays it down but it’s a bigger deal than he wants to admit. Charges with the Ethics panel come next. That’s why some Republicans officially voted “present.

Schiff censured by congress

On Wednesday, Adam Schiff was formally censured by Congress. For years, he’s rabidly pushed every anti-Trump conspiracy which came along. Even after John Durham released his 306-page report spelling out that there was nothing at all to the whole Trump-Russia collusion claims, the California Democrat keeps pushing them.

That earned him the dubious honor of becoming “the third member of the House to be censured since the turn of the century.” He’s not real happy about it but acts otherwise.

While “censure” means “formal condemnation” it’s largely symbolic and carries no penalty. That’s why along with the heretic to justice label, the measure included a referral to the House Ethics Committee.

They’ll get to investigate Adam Schiff regarding alleged “falsehoods, misrepresentations, and abuses of sensitive information.” Those charges do have penalties.

There were six Republicans who voted “present” on the measure and five of them sit on the House Ethics Committee. They didn’t vote in favor or against because they may be soon sitting in legal judgment against the obsessively progressive lawmaker.

Members who sit on the Ethics Committee historically vote ‘present‘ so as to not weigh in on investigations before they are brought to them,” explains Anna Paulina Luna, sponsor of the resolution. Rep. Garbarino confirms that, noting “that the votes from him and other Republicans on the Ethics Committee were intended to preserve ‘the integrity of the investigation‘ into Schiff, rather than a break from the party.

Impartial and unbiased decisions

Garbarino highlights that “Ethics Committee rules and fundamental due process considerations require that Ethics Committee members make impartial and unbiased decisions. If we would have voted for the resolution, it could have triggered a process for Congressman Schiff to request we recuse ourselves, effectively shutting down the investigation.” He would pull a slimy move like that in a heartbeat, too.

Likewise, Rep. Joyce issued a statement noting “as a member of the House Ethics Committee, I have always deemed it appropriate to vote present on legislation related to matters that are or could come before the committee rather than prejudging the outcome of the committee’s investigation.” This time is no different.

As soon as the final tally of 213-209 came in along party lines, Democrats “gathered on the floor” to chant “Shame!” and “Disgrace!” in solidarity with their disgraced associate.

Democrat Ilhan Omar, who allegedly married her brother to help him break immigration law, called House Speaker Kevin McCarthy a “spiteful coward” and accused him of “weak leadership” as he “tried to gavel the House in order for several minutes.” Schiff manged to keep his cool and issued a statement in response.

To my Republican colleagues who introduced this resolution, I thank you,” Schiff snarled. “You honor me with your enmity, you flatter me with this falsehood. You, who are the authors of a big lie about the last election, must condemn the truth tellers.

He still thinks Christopher Steele’s dirty dossier is the God’s honest truth. “And I stand proudly before you. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful.” Obviously, he’s hallucinating again. You can tell he represents California.
