Eyewitnesses Shed Light on Gabby Petito Final Moments

Petito

The tragic case of Gabby Petito has grabbed national attention since her body was discovered at a campsite north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Petito was already subject to a lot of attention when she was reported missing in late August. According to new reports, Gabby was last seen alive involved in what’s described as “an explosive argument” between her boyfriend Brian Laundrie and the staff at a Jackson Hole restaurant called Merry Piglets on August 27th. This was revealed by a couple from New Orleans, Nina Celie Angelo and Matthew England who were in town for a wedding.

According to Fox News,

“In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the restaurant confirmed the two were there.

“Yes, we can confirm Gabby and Brian were in Merry Piglets…We have already notified the FBI and they are aware. We are letting them do their jobs and we are respecting Gabby’s family and have nothing further to comment,” the restaurant said.

Matthew and Nina told their amazing tale to Fox News reporters. “He goes, ‘Nina, that was the couple fighting at the restaurant,’” Angelo said. “And it stopped me in my tracks. I felt like the blood left my body. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I completely forgot about that incident.’”

“I spent the last three or four days really kind of racking my brain,” he told Fox News Wednesday. “And I woke up this morning and went to Facebook, and there was that video with the police on it right away. That was the couple.”

Reports show that this incident at the restaurant happened about two weeks after witnesses called 911 about a confrontation between Laundrie and Petito in Moab, Utah. England explained that he reported the incident to the FBI and that Gabby seemed “visibly upset” with Laundrie as he argued with the staff at the Merry Piglets restaurant. England and Angelo indicated that after they observed bodycam video of police interacting with Petito and Laundrie their body language and mannerisms were consistent,  and Laundry was even wearing clothes that England recognized.

“I would bet $10 million, I’m 1,000% sure that was him and that was her,” he said.

Gabby Petito was found dead on September 19th in a camping area within Grand Teton National Park.
