Donald Trump is demanding Merrick Garland release the affidavit allegedly justifying what looks like election-meddling. At the very least the move was obviously partisan political theater. The former president is rightfully furious with the Federal Bureau of Instigation after becoming the first former POTUS to be raided by the feds, ever. Our agitated Attorney General wants to hand over a copy totally blacked out with magic marker lines but Trump and the rest of America want to see the “completely unredacted” version. The head of the Just Us Department flatly refuses to show us the goods and will fight to the death to keep his actions secret.
The affidavit says it all
The FBI must immediately release the “completely unredacted” affidavit that was used to justify the raid, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, Monday night, August 15.
The liberal left is stunned by how outraged the deplorable supporters of Former President Donald Trump became when they found out what happened recently. “There is no way to justify the unannounced RAID of Mar-a-Lago,” Trump tapped out.
Merrick Garland and his cronies were convinced that Trump would resist the paperwork being made public. They could use that resistance to make him look bad and destroy his chances for regaining the Oval Office. Instead, Trump is demanding transparency. Full transparency, not half-truths and Deep State deception. That threw the bureau into total panic mode.

They’re a whole department full of lawyers but they’re still thinking of lawyering up to cover their own assets when the inevitable fertilizer hits the fan. It’s about to start spraying on the FBI the way Dutch Police got hit with it by protesting farmers. The only way the public will get to see the affidavit is over his dead body, Merrick Garland proclaims.
The Just Us Department already filed the paperwork with the court “to block the release of the affidavit used to search the Florida mansion.” Garland admits that if the judge wants to unseal the order, he doesn’t have the power to stop it. He can’t do anything but he really wouldn’t like it. His agents are already getting death threats.
Okay to unseal the rest
Go ahead and make all the rest of the paperwork public, Garland graciously concedes. None of that will hurt the FBI any. The sworn statement used to get the warrant is a zebra of a psychedelically different color.
As Politico points out, “the DOJ is particularly concerned that the release of details from the affidavit might harm ongoing efforts to interview witnesses, given the threats to federal agents in wake of the Mar-a-Lago search.” Well, besides the fact that they’re terrified the document will show it was an unjustified fishing expedition in the first place. One meant to throw damaging mud on a potential rival political candidate.
“If disclosed, the affidavit would serve as a road map to the government’s ongoing investigation, providing specific details about its direction and likely course, in a manner that is highly likely to compromise future investigative steps.” That’s what happens when the ice falls out from underneath you.
The feds want the judge to “unseal a redacted document that includes additional filings connected to the search warrant, including a cover sheet, DOJ’s motion to seal the warrant on August 5 and the judge’s sealing order issued the same day.”
According to Garland, if they run a magic marker across the really sensitive parts of the Affidavit there will only be about three words left for the public to see. Since that won’t make the bureau or the department look good in the eyes of the public, it’s better to keep the whole thing secret.
Trump is to the point where if they convince the court to go that route, he might just publish his own copy in public, without a dot of magic marker hiding the Truth. That possibility has Garland waking up at 3:40 a.m. and screaming in horror. He thinks his crew is getting death threats now?
