When Republican Kari Lake made her official announcement for the Arizona Senate race, conservatives state-wide were cheering. Lake already has the support of former President Donald Trump and now she’s just received one more endorsement that is sure to be groundbreaking.

The battle for Arizona’s senate seat is heating up, and Republican candidate Kari Lake has just secured a major endorsement. Wyoming Senator John Barrasso recently announced that he was throwing his weight behind Lake, calling her “a generational communicator who is giving voice to Arizona citizens.”

With this boost of support, Lake could be well on her way to becoming the state’s next senator.

Lake launched her campaign with the intention of flipping the seat currently held by independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema. Despite being an independent, Sinema has been caught consistently voting alongside Democrats and thus must be removed from office if Republicans are going to take back the majority in 2024.

To do this, however, they need a strong candidate like Lake who can draw broad enough support to make it happen.

Lake has already made strides towards achieving this goal by earning endorsements from former President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). This will go a long way towards helping her secure more votes when election day arrives and could put her well on her way towards winning the nomination ahead of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb – the only other major opponent in the race so far.

She also seems set on avoiding issues such as election frauds which were central to her political persona after losing last year’s gubernatorial elections; instead she’s focusing on presenting herself as a credible alternative who can bring real solutions to Arizona’s problems.

In addition to securing these high-profile endorsements, Lake is working hard at building bridges with establishment Republicans in order to coalesce even more support for what will likely become one of the most contentious races yet come 2024 when she faces off against Phoenix-area Democrat Ruben Gallego for control of that all important senate seat.
