For years, Mitch McConnell has been a thorn in the side of conservatives and the Republican Party.
From undermining Tea Party efforts to his cozy ties with Communist China, he’s done more harm than good.
Even worse, we lost the Senate last election cycle thanks to him.
It’s time we acknowledge this inconvenient truth and stop making excuses for him.
Mark Levin is not one to mince words when it comes to his feelings about Senator McConnell.
As he recently put it on Fox News: “He cost us the Senate last election time, spent millions defeating conservatives. He undermined the Tea Party in 2010, did everything he could to them. He came out just the other day and told McCarthy, you know, you need to tap the brakes here when it comes to impeaching Joe Biden.”
Talk about a bad joke.
He also points out that both McCarthy and Biden have close connections with Communist China and their families have made a fortune from them.
Finally, Levin noted that despite Washington elites believing conservatives are “just a loudmouth bunch of raunchy extremists,” they are still members of the Republican Party who deserve respect from politicians like McConnell.
This sentiment is echoed by many across America as evidenced by recent events involving Senator McConnell.
During a speech he gave recently, crowds chanted “lost the Senate” and “resign” which went ignored by him as though it was no big deal – just another day in DC politics I guess?
Unfortunately, this attitude only further highlights how out-of-touch our elected officials can be when they become too entrenched in Washington elites’ thinking – something that needs to change if we’re ever going to restore trust between our government and its citizens.
