NATO ‘Defeated’ When Putin Called Their Bluff

NATO

NATO might as well pack it all up and go home, general and former British army commander Sir Nick Parker said on Thursday. The European allies have “been defeated by Vladimir Putin calling the alliance’s bluff over Ukraine.” What we really need is a stripped down group of real soldiers “prepared to be more offensive.

NATO decadent and obsolete

Every day, NATO seems more like the United Nations with tanks. All they do is talk and posture when they should be doing their duty. Putin was counting on that when he bluffed his way across the border.

General Parker is well aware his “suggestion” is highly “controversial.” There is no denying that 30 individual nations in the alliance, including the U.S., the U.K. and a few noteworthy European ones, were totally unable “to prevent the Russian president’s invasion of Ukraine.

Back in the day, when he was in command of British land forces, nobody would have pulled such a stunt. NATO, he observes, “is now in a defensive position, holding the alliance’s eastern flank that last expanded in 2004.

The alliance has been taken over by the diplomatic types who talk instead of making the tough decisions. In his humble opinion, “a smaller military alliance would be better suited to ‘develop an offensive counter-strategy to Putin.

Appearing on BBC 4, Parker floored his host by blurting out “I mean NATO’s been defeated, NATO’s bluff was called.” What good are they? He implied.

We were unable to stop the Russians trampling all over Ukraine and now NATO is holding the line of the 2004 expansion, along the line of the Baltic states and Poland and Hungary and Romania.” That’s not a good thing. The brass only have one option now.

Forget about offense

What NATO “has to do is to defend that line, it’s in what in military terms we would call a defensive position. And I don’t think it has the capacity to move on to the offensive with its 30 nations all with slightly different views.

What the allies really need, he insists, is “a smaller coalition of nations who can start to develop an offensive counter-strategy to Putin.

As more intelligence comes in by the day, everyone is noticing a spooky trend. Putin’s generals and spies fed him serious misinformation. Whatever lies they told him were enough to convince him to invade Ukraine. NATO, meanwhile, was lulled into inaction by more bad intelligence that said all the shooting would be done and over with before they could do much good.

Global intelligence agencies either aren’t very good at what they do, or they aren’t working for the nation that pays them. Instead, they’re all in the pocket of New World Order globalists. One world government is being shoved down everyone’s throat, whether they like it or not.

Ukraine has already announced major concessions aimed at preventing what seems to be a pending nuclear holocaust. They dropped their hopes “to join NATO.” It’s become clear that Putin may have had some legitimate cause for alarm that the globalists were out to do him in.

Someone convinced his generals who talked him into something like a preemptive defensive strike. It’s up to Vlad now to decide if it’s safe to back down. He won’t be handing any territory back that he captured but at least Kyiv will still be the capitol of a country called Ukraine, a lot smaller than it used to be.
