Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) finally got a former intelligence official in the hot seat.
This was former CIA boss John Brennan.
Brennan came in for a closed-door session, and Jordan seemed a bit giddy after he left.
He Confessed
According to Jordan, Brennan confirmed everything that we thought.
He stated, “[Brennan] sat for a four-hour interview and he further confirmed that this thing was all political.”
Jordan also slammed Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) for trying to twist the narrative of what happened during the meeting.
He stated, “Mr. Goldman talked about public servants.
“We expect public servants not to use their title to influence an election.”
Goldman had suggested that Jordan was violating Brennan’s First Amendment rights by signing the letter along with 50 other intelligence officials that said the Hunter Biden laptop appeared to be Russian disinformation.
Jordan also took a shot at Joe Biden for using that letter during a debate to counter Trump.
He stated, “And he presented it as if it was all organic — just shazam!
“It just happened out of the goodness of all these individuals’ hearts.
“They wanted to do this as if there was no political motivation whatsoever, and we know that was not accurate.”
I don’t see how anyone could interpret this as anything but election interference.
