Teachers in one state have been ordered to include parents in decisions which involve their children. They also must refer to students using traditional pronouns instead of the ones currently in fashion. North Dakota’s legislature just overwhelmingly passed a law which sides with parents on the issue of transgender students. Governor Doug Burgum is Republican and expected to sign it but it will become law even if he doesn’t, because it’s “veto proof.”
Teachers and government entities
North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is expected to sign their recently approved measure, which will “allow public school teachers and employees of government entities to ignore the preferred pronouns of their transgender students and colleagues.”
The state Senate didn’t didn’t even bother to hold debate on the bill, passing it on April 27 by the landslide margin of 40-6. It had already breezed through their House 68-22. That means it will go into law even “without Burgum’s approval.”
Transgender students in public schools can forget about custom crafted plumbing facilities and litter boxes on campus. They must use one of the two choices best suited to the plumbing they already have, unless, of course, “they have approval from a parent or legal guardian.”

Most importantly, “teachers would also be required to tell a student’s parent or guardian if the student identifies as transgender.”
According to conservative lawmaker Karen Rohr, who firmly backed the bill, “it includes language” Governor Burgum “have no objections to signing.” That’s because it’s fully “consistent with the governor’s statement that parents should be involved when these situations arise.”
Children can be people but parents must be allowed to be parents. Woke teachers aren’t allowed to interfere with that, no matter what the federal guidelines say.
Not far enough
Cynthia Schreiber-Beck was one of those voting against the controversial measure. Not because she’s a Democrat, because she isn’t. She’s a Republican. She also knows the definitions of words like male, female, man and woman. She was against the new law because “it doesn’t go far enough.”
Any private school that gets a penny of state or federal funding should be obligated the same as the rest. Woke teachers are a problem everywhere. “I have a real concern that this is only targeted at public schools.”
This isn’t the first law for the governor to put into effect recently. Besides creating an environment more favorable to their teachers than radically woke and pre-indoctrinated students he’s “signed several bills restricting transgender rights.”

When schools in America can’t teach elementary classes the difference between male and female, biology classes in high school become nothing more than mental masturbation, preparing the next generation of medical students in college who also can’t be expected to score a passing grade in organic chemistry. In another generation, some say, the human race will be on the verge of extinction.
Besides the bill affecting teachers, North Dakota made it clear exactly where they stand on other progressive issues. They have banned “transgender children and adults from accessing bathrooms, locker rooms or showers in dormitories of state-run colleges and correctional facilities that don’t align with their biological sex.”
Also, it’s now a crime “to provide minors with healthcare based on their gender identities.” Transgender girls and women can forget about “joining female sports teams in grade school and college.“
