Former President Donald Trump just made a groundbreaking declaration during a rally in Iowa recently. And it’s something that many Americans could agree on: the 2024 election could mark a massive turning point in our nation’s history.
He warned that the upcoming election cycle could be “the final battle” to save America from its decline.
This battle, he said, would decide whether or not America will continue its decline and lose its standing among other nations. He expressed his desire to “expel the warmongers from our government” and “drive out the globalists” as well as cast out all forms of communism and fascism.
At a rally in Maquoketa, Iowa earlier this week, Trump was quoted as saying “we are going to make this country stronger and better and more beautiful than ever before. Not just get it back, we’re going to make it better than ever before.”
He reminded voters that 2016 was known as “the biggest election of our lifetime” but promised them that if re-elected his administration would make the United States stronger than ever before.
With no challengers left standing in his path after securing endorsements from party leaders earlier this month it seems likely that Trump will be running for office again next year – leaving speculation about who could become his future vice president partner abound.
Trump has made no secret of his admiration for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem after her endorsement earlier this month.
When asked about her potential involvement as his running mate should he win the Republican nomination again, Trump replied “I think she’s fantastic…She gave me a very full-throated endorsement, a beautiful endorsement.”
While he did note that there are many great people within the Republican party who could fulfill such an honor, he also hinted at exploring all options including those of female candidates.
As far as making any official decisions on running mates go however Trump insists “it’s still about the person that’s going to be president.”
