General Mark Milley is once again coming back to haunt Donald Trump.
A new report published in the New Yorker is going to create even more waves for Trump than we are already seeing.
It was the last thing that Trump needed on the heels of the last few days’ events.

Trump has been getting absolutely blistered over the last two days.
First, a report showed shreds of paper being flushed down the White House toilets that appeared to have been in Trump’s handwriting.
Trump called it fake news, but it blew up all over the place, especially after the next story hit.
That, of course, would be the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago that took place on Monday while Trump was in New York.
That raid was apparently over classified documents still being stored in Trump’s possession that should have been returned to the National Archives (although there are mixed reports it may have also been regarding January 6).
Now we can add the New Yorker report, with Milley patting himself on the back for preventing Martial Law in this country.
In the report, Milley considered resigning after he appeared with Trump at Lafayette Square and issued an apology the next day.
Instead, he reportedly told his staff, “F*** that s***, I’ll just fight him.
“If they want to court-martial me, or put me in prison, have at it. But I will fight from the inside.”
He told the New Yorker that he “envisioned a declaration of martial law or a Presidential invocation of the Insurrection Act,” so he had to stay to prevent that from happening.
Now, I want to be clear about how absurd that is.
Our military leaders would never allow a sitting president to invoke Martial Law to maintain power after an election.
Secondly, the American people would not tolerate it.
That is the very reason we have the Second Amendment in this country.
This is all Milley whetting everyone’s whistle for when he retires so he put out a best seller about how he was the man to save the country from Trump, and nothing more.
