Everyone is watching Donald Trump’s key battleground Senate candidates.
So far, they have had a pretty weak showing, but JD Vance, who is running in Ohio, has been winning throughout.
That has changed, and it is sending a wave of panic through the GOP right now.
Uh Oh
The key races for Trump are Vance (OH), Walker (GA), Masters (AZ), and Oz (PA).
If the GOP hopes to win the Senate, they will ideally sweep these seats, but they definitely need two of them.
Right now, they are losing all four races.
Vance went from being up two or three points to trailing Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH).
This happened at a time when Ryan has had a horrible news cycle, so the GOP is a bit taken aback as to how Ryan is gaining ground.
Masters has never really been in his race.
Oz has trailed throughout, although he has had a couple of momentum swings and recently received a slew of endorsements, so while he is on life support, he is still breathing.
Walker, well, he is his own worst enemy. He does have a debate coming up against Warnock, but Walker has been going the wrong way for a few weeks now.
If all four of these candidates lose, we cannot help but wonder if it will impact Trump’s decision to run again in 2024.
