IRS Has Confirmed Merrick Garland Was Behind It…

It’s been officially confirmed by the IRS. Merrick Garland and the Just Us Department were the ones who yanked the entire team of investigators from Hunter Biden’s tax fraud probe. It was done because the supervisor and one of the agents both went blabbing to Congress.

IRS retaliation came from DOJ

Commissioner Daniel Werfel was quick to let the public know that it wasn’t his decision to “purge an IRS whistleblower from the DOJ’s probe into Hunter Biden,” along with the rest of his team. He sent a letter to Jason Smith, the House Ways and Means Committee Chair, informing Congress that the DOJ came up with that idea all on their own, with no help from him or his staff.

Hunter Biden has been under criminal tax fraud investigation for several years but no charges were filed. The House got their hands on enough to know about two separate million dollar transactions which went to nine members of the Biden family, including grandkids.

On May 17, Werfel sent off the letter responding to “Smith’s May 16 inquiry about concerns that a high-ranking IRS agent faced retaliation for raising red flags about alleged political interference in the tax probe of Hunter Biden.

The decision “to remove a whistleblower from the tax investigation was at the DOJ’s direction,” he insists. That confirms the tale told by a second Infernal Revenue Service investigator.

This country is being run entirely by Merrick Garland. He does whatever it is that he wants to do, and it’s totally legal because he says it is.

The IRS whistleblower you reference alleges that the change in their work assignment came at the direction of the Department of Justice.” Werfel wanted to distance himself from the matter like it had Ebola.

The DOJ is in charge

As a general matter and not in reference to any specific case,” he wrote to the House committee, “I believe it is important to emphasize that in any matter involving federal judicial proceedings, the IRS follows the direction of the Justice Department.

He wanted to make crystal clear that he wasn’t even following orders, the decision was made and carried out without him.

I want to state unequivocally that I have not intervened – and will not intervene – in any way that would impact the status of any whistleblower,” Werfel insists. He’s also not allowed to talk about it. The IRS commissioner is under a gag order for the usual reason, pending investigation.

Werfel also claimed he could not provide any additional details about the purge,” due to “pending proceedings.” He washed his hands of whatever happens next.

In light of laws and policies designed to protect the integrity of pending proceedings, I am unable to provide details on this matter.” He also made sure to point out that “when an IRS employee raises allegations of this kind, the Commissioner’s office does not run an investigation, seek the identity of the whistleblower, or similarly intervene.

Instead, the Inspector General serves as a critical guardian of the whistleblower process and conducts relevant inquiries into the matter.
