When Josiah Vargas pulled up to the drive-thru at McDonald’s, he was expecting his usual order – a sausage McMuffin. To his surprise, however, when he opened the bag, it was filled with thousands of dollars in cash.
This random act of kindness could have been disastrous for the business had Josiah not done the right thing and returned the money. Instead, it earned him free McDonald’s for a month and some extra cash.

Like many people, Josiah Vargas went to McDonald’s looking for something delicious and satisfying to eat. He never expected what happened next: when he opened his bag after ordering a sausage McMuffin at the drive-thru window, it was filled with packets full of cash! Josiah was understandably shocked and confused by this unexpected turn of events – “What is this? Why would they do this? What the f**k? Now I have to return this because I’m a good person, I guess” After regaining his composure somewhat, he went back into McDonald’s to return the money.
The staff were overjoyed that someone had done such an honorable thing – they thanked him profusely and even rewarded him with free food for a month and some cash too.
