Supreme Court Hands Kari Lake Victory

Arizona’s state level Supreme Court gave Kari Lake something to chalk up as a victory in her battle to overturn the hotly contested Governor’s race. Conservatives all across America are paying close attention. Why require signatures on ballots unless they’re actually used for election security and integrity?

Lake claims one victory

Kari Lake is learning that the wheels of justice grind slowly in the courts and outcomes at every level are uncertain. That’s why if you’re going to file a complaint, you include anything and everything that could possibly be an effective “cause of action” in your particular circumstances.

The general rule of thumb is to throw as much as you can against the wall in hopes that something will stick. The walls in Maricopa County turned out to be Teflon coated as far as the candidate’s lawsuit was concerned.

After Kari Lake fought her way all the way up to state’s highest court, she finally got a victory and it’s not a small one. One of her charges stuck to the wall.

This fight is so much bigger than just one election. It’s a battle to end corruption and restore our God-given rights. It certainly hasn’t been an easy one. But the most rewarding struggles never are,” she tweeted on March 22.

Over the years,” American Thinker points out, “Arizona has been in the hot seat for mismanaged and questionable election processes.” They also note that “highly-suspicious problems on election day” disproportionately affect Republican voters and candidates.

Everyone should be concerned if it’s a pattern, which this seems to be. The win for Lake is also a “decisive win in the fight for free and fair elections.

signature-verification

Arizona’s Supreme Court granted review of “the Maricopa County Recorder’s application of signature-verification policies during the election.

That’s a big deal because Lake and her legal team alleged “that under the direction of Democrat Adrian Fontes, the Maricopa County Recorder’s office failed to follow the law during the signature verification process for mail-in ballots.” There were enough in dispute to change the outcome of the election.

The overwhelming number of potentially problematic ballots has the possibility to alter the victor of the governor’s race, and if these ballots are in fact fraudulent or invalid, the installation of Katie Hobbs could transcend plausible speculation and become proven fact in a court of law.” Lake still has a chance.

We have 3 whistleblowers in the signature verification department in Maricopa… Who said that they were rejecting tens of thousands of signatures to the tune of up to 130,000 ballots that were being rejected… Somebody above them was sending them on through anyway,” she tweeted. This decision is important because it proves the signatures can be challenged in ANY election. That’s why they are there in the first place.

The state of Arizona isn’t neatly divided into Republican and Democrat. The spectrum ranges from anarchist Democrats to Republicans to anarchist Libertarians. Most of the far-right are registered as independent though lean Republican. Kari Lake is well aware that since the independents are forced to choose between the Republican and Democrat primary winners, if there isn’t a clear conservative between them, results can be surprising.

That’s how Kyrsten Sinema got a senate seat. She was more conservative than both her predecessor, Republican Jeff Flake and her opponent, Martha McSally. The voters appear to have made the right decision on that one. She’s already revised her strategy and signed up as an “independent.
