A massive accident in Southern Algeria has left carnage all over the highway.
In all, 34 people have already died.
Another 12 were injured, so the death toll could go up.
Tragedy Strikes
According to local authorities, a bus and pickup truck collided on a highway in Southern Alegria on Wednesday.
The accident caused a massive fire.
All passengers in both vehicles were caught in the fire, with only 12 escaping with their lives.
Algeria highways are not exactly safe, quickly becoming the hotspot around the globe for risky driving.
Between May 1 and July 11, there were over 11,000 traffic accidents on Algerian highways.
Over 300 people have died in those accidents.
In fact, only two weeks ago there was another major accident that left eight people dead and 17 injured.
That accident took place in Bordj Bou Arréridj in northern Algeria.
