To hear Joe Biden talk, all this administration does is win.
That is not what the polls are saying.
In fact, the latest CNN poll was so bad, even Jake Tapper could not hold back.
Disaster
When voters were asked if they consider a Joe Biden re-election a “disaster” or “setback,” a whopping 66 percent said that would be the case for them.
Biden’s approval rating is also a pitiful 35 percent.
Trump did not do much better, with 44 percent saying him being elected would be a “setback” or “disaster.”
The general base of both of these men will come out to support them, but what happens after that.
We are being set up for an election that will follow one with the most votes to one that could have relatively few.
The majority of Democrats do not want to see Biden run again, so it will be hard to motivate them to get to the polls.
Outside of Trump’s base, he has very little support, so both men are leading campaigns that do not have much enthusiasm.
Trump has to find a way to make peace with DeSantis voters and tone it down a bit to lure back voters he lost in 2020.
If he does not do this, assuming he gets the nomination, this is going to be a very tough race to win for both sides.
