After seeing the atrocities against Israel committed by Hamas, one would expect everyone to be united with Israel.
Democrats, however, have something else in mind.
Barack Obama, for instance, just tried to tell Israel that it needs to be worried about Palestine’s feelings rather than ending Hamas.
Disgusting
While nobody seems to want to hold Hamas accountable for attacking innocent civilians, everyone is putting Israel on notice that it is being watched like a hawk.
To that point, Obama stated, “But even as we support Israel, we should also be clear that how Israel prosecutes this fight against Hamas matters.
“Still, the world is watching closely as events in the region unfold, and any Israeli military strategy that ignores the human costs could ultimately backfire.
“Already, thousands of Palestinians have been killed in the bombing of Gaza, many of them children.
“Hundreds of thousands have been forced from their homes.
“The Israeli government’s decision to cut off food, water and electricity to a captive civilian population threatens not only to worsen a growing humanitarian crisis; it could further harden Palestinian attitudes for generations, erode global support for Israel, play into the hands of Israel’s enemies, and undermine long term efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.”
Nobody is encouraging the death of civilians, but what is Israel supposed to do when Hamas hides among its civilians?
Let me ask an even better question… why would you live in a terrorist state unless you supported those terrorists?
Perhaps that is the question people like Barack Obama should really be asking.
