You know things are going bad for the Deep State when Democrats stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Panicked Capitol Hill progressives are suddenly afraid of all the incoming landscapers and nannies about to flood the market. Cheap labor is one thing. But, this time, there are so many coming that it seems they’ll be sleeping in the streets. The charities are already overloaded with Asylees. Everyone is saying it might be time to hit the brakes before we hit the ditch.
Democrats waking up
Democrats make a big deal about being “woke.” Well, they just had a really rude awakening. It suddenly dawned on them that the deluge of migrants about to hit the southern border might not be a good thing. The office phones of House lawmakers are melting down.
Anxious constituents, even the registered Democrat ones, are questioning the wisdom of Imperial Leader Joe Biden lifting the Title 42 lid. That’s the only thing holding back unrestricted invasion.
The Democrats in close election races this year dared to “publicly criticize” the decision earlier. Now “the pushback is growing to include the president’s moderate allies.”
When radical liberals like Delaware Senator Chris Coons starts making waves, it makes the New World Order nervous. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Gary Peters is questioning the decision, too.
Aides to ranking Democrats suggested on Monday, April 18, that maybe His Imperial Wisdom “should postpone the date for lifting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention order, which is now set for May 23.”
The sanitized version in the press says that’s “to give themselves more time to craft a plan to deal with an expected surge in migration.” What that really means is they’re screaming in horror and have no idea what to do.
A lot of lobbying
According to one aide to Senate Democrats, who’s identity shall remain secret to protect their safety, doesn’t “know what’s going to happen, but there’s a lot of lobbying.” Lobbying, as in, “hey look, what are we supposed to do here? What do you mean ‘be creative?‘” The leaker is convinced “the easiest solution would be to delay lifting the order until the fall or after the election.”
Simply “extend it and move on,” the source suggests. The only problem is that it doesn’t seem to be an option. The New World Order wants that border erased and they want it erased NOW!
Another big problem is that registered Democrats back home have been listening to their conservative cousins and neighbors. They’re starting to question what their told on TV.
“It shows how much the right drives the discourse,” the source laments. A friend of the rat, also a staffer on the hill, thinks Joe Biden will blink and “reverse course before the May 23 deadline.”
The second aide is of the opinion that “it is almost certain” Democrats in leadership “will either have to change their ruling on Title 42 or come up with something else that is going to address what will otherwise be a very critical problem at the border.”
Texas is already busing them up to Washington, D.C. in a convoy of 900 coaches. “Seeing how we’ve been unable to come up with a successful Plan B over the past two years, I think pushing back the Title 42 rescission is probably the more likely outcome.“
