The case of Craig Deleeuw Robertson is a very interesting one.
Robertson made some posts online that got the attention of the FBI.
After an initial visit to talk to him, the FBI raided his home in the early morning hours.
That raid resulted in Robertson being shot dead.
What Happened
As usually happens, after someone is killed by authorities, the neighbor interviews start taking place.
Robertson’s neighbors described him as a big teddy bear, but also stated that he is the kind of guy that would sleep with a gun under his pillow.
There is one other thing in play here.
Robertson also happened to be a Trump supporter.
When the FBI initially contacted Robertson, he was allegedly wearing a Trump hat.
Now there are questions about his shooting.
Did Robertson have a gun in hand when the FBI raided his home?
Did he draw his weapon or threaten to shoot the FBI?
There were no reports of shots being exchanged, so as far as we know the only shot fired came from the FBI agent that took out Robertson.
The FBI stated that Robertson, at the very least, wanted to kill Joe Biden and Alvin Bragg, so did the FBI go through the door with the intent of taking out Robertson regardless?
The FBI responded, “The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting which occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in Provo, Utah.
“The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased.
“The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously.
“In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division.
“As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.”
There has to be bodycam footage, right? So let’s see it and end this controversy if the FBI followed the book.
