Things aren’t looking too good for Florida Governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis. The September 2023 Clarity Omnibus Survey has just revealed that entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is now tied with DeSantis at 10% in second place…over 57 points behind frontrunner former President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, in the poll of likely voters, it was discovered that an overwhelming 62% of Americans feel the nation is on the “wrong track.”
According to Clarity+ Campaign Labs, Trump maintains a 4-point lead over incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden which is higher than the 1.86% margin of error given by the same company. The poll additionally showed Trump leading by two points in overall approval rating with 43% to Biden’s 41%.

In an hypothetical primary race not including Trump, Ramaswamy has surged ahead with 33% support — two points ahead of DeSantis — followed closely by former UN Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence who are both tied at 7%.
Many conservative commentators have already taken notice to his strong returns such as Brandon Tatum who observed that he ‘triggered’ co-hosts from The View when he declared parents should have rights when it comes to their children changing genders at school.
NEW: Vivek Ramaswamy calls transgenderism in children a mental disorder and calls for parents to get their rights back. ????????
He even went as far to say “affirming” kids’ genders was cruel.

Following the debate, he further emphasized his beliefs about treating gender dysphoria as a mental health disorder and banning genital mutilation before age 18 while empowering parents again. His comments during the debate were met with approval from those watching as well as other prominent conservative commentators such as Collin Rugg from Trending Politics News who wrote “Vivek Ramaswamy calls transgenderism in children a mental disorder and calls for parents to get their rights back.”

Ramaswamy closed out his interview following the second GOP primary debate by saying “My goal tonight was to say that I’m not running against any of them. I’m running for this country.” He went on further criticize his fellow candidates for engaging in personal attacks during debates rather than discussing policy disagreements stating if we want to reunite this country, we first need to reunite our own party.
It’s clear that many conservatives are taking notice of Ramaswamy’s message which could spell trouble for DeSantis’ presidential campaign if things continue down this trajectory.
