If you missed this – As most of you probably know by now, the Supreme Court shot down Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan. (Now those same students are about to be hit with garnishments. )
This was overreach at its finest, with a Biden official leaning on emergency legislation to try to add billions to the tab of the American taxpayer.
Biden never had the authority, and this was something Democrats knew.
It was also something that Chief Justice Roberts cited when he announced his ruling.

The fact of the matter is that such legislation can only be enacted by Congress, not by the swipe of a pen from Biden or an order from a Secretary. Notice no other presidents have attempted this even president Trump in his 2nd term.
When Roberts explained his ruling, he actually quoted a line by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) regarding Biden’s authority.
Roberts wrote, “As then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi explained: ‘People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not.’
“‘He can postpone. He can delay.
“But he does not have that power.
“That has to be an act of Congress.'”

As I stated before, they all knew this was an illegal order, but they rolled the dice in order to get millennials to vote for Democrats. Millennials won’t be falling for that again, and recent polling shows a massive shift from blue to red with younger generations. Mix those stats with deportations, and the DNC going broke…The next election cycle looks rough for Dems on pretty much all fronts.
Now they will have to answer for misleading them and giving them all false hope.
