ICYMI – Senator Sinema (I-AZ) gave the GOP a huge gift.
According to reports, Sinema is going to run for re-election as an independent.
If she does that, the liberal and moderate vote will be split, which opens the door for a GOP candidate to come swooping in.
There for the Taking
After the debacle that was the 2022 election, I never want to use the word “lock” in terms of an election.
Having said that, if Ronna McDaniel and the McConnell can get their heads together with a decent moderate candidate, Sinema’s seat is there for the taking.
With a Democrat and Sinema running, there is simply no way the GOP should lose that election.
There were a lot of questions if Sinema would even consider running, but the Wall Street Journal reported that photos of slides with her agenda on them were leaked from a workspace that Sinema uses in Phoenix.
A GOP strategist agreed with my assessment, stating, “A three-way race in Arizona is a nightmare scenario for Democrats. Schumer’s hold on a slim majority is getting weaker every day.”
The McDaniel’s blows this one, she should be taken out behind the shed with the switch.
