There was a horrible accident on the I-5 in Oregon.
Seven people were dead at the accident, with several more injured being taken to a local hospital for treatment.
According to local reports, the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident was allegedly under the influence.

Witnesses stated that a semi had been weaving all over the road.
The truck went off the shoulder, hitting a passenger van, which pushed the van into another truck.
This was more or less the equivalent of the van being put into a car crusher.
The driver of the truck, Lincoln Clayton Smith, was arrested and charged for DUII, among other charges.
As the scene unfolded, bodies were removed from the wreckage, put in body bags, and stacked on the side of the road.
It must have been a horrible scene for passersby.
