ICYMI – We have not gotten rid of John Kerry just yet, but we have managed to make his life a bit less comfortable.
Biden’s climate envoy had a major conference that would require significant air travel.
Typically, this would mean that Kerry would be on his personal jet, flying in comfort.
Now, he finally had to trek around the globe on a commercial plane, finally giving in to the pressure of his hypocrisy.
Makes No Sense
It is tough to claim you are a climate czar when your family is responsible for dropping 300 metric tons of carbon into the atmosphere since joining this administration.
Republicans have been hammering Kerry for this from the outset.
For instance, Senator John Hawley (R-MO) stated, “Joe Biden launched his war on American energy on his first day in office, shutting down domestic energy production and making us reliant on our enemies.
“But while Americans are struggling to afford gas and being lectured about ‘transitioning’ their energy use, Biden’s cabinet is jetting around the world wasting the same fossil fuels they say they want to ban.
“Americans can see the hypocrisy and it’s insulting.”
Kerry was headed out for the COP27 summit in Egypt.
He led a delegation that traveled to the UK first, then the United Arab Emirates, and finally stopped in Egypt for the conference.
Even though he flew commercial, I would bet the farm we were hit with a first-class ticket for our climate czar.
