Joe Biden is once again taking a page out of the Obama playbook.
Biden made an announcement that is the epitome of government overreach.
He declared two national monuments in Nevada and Texas.
The move will snatch up more than 500,000 acres of land and put it under federal protection.
The Land Grab
Biden has announced the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument in Nevada and Castner Range National Monument in Texas.
The Texas land grab is for less than 7,000 acres, but the Nevada one encompasses more than 500,000 acres.
The issue for Nevada is that much of that land is very rich in minerals, and this order will prevent those vital minerals from being mined.
It is a crushing blow to state income, not to mention the ability to be able to provide many of the minerals needed for this big green energy push of Biden’s.
This after Biden also managed to get ConocoPhillips to surrender leases it had purchased in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska in order to push the Willow Project forward.
Honestly, I am surprised Republicans are not making a bigger deal out of this, at it is clearly government overreach at its finest.
