Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had an allergic reaction to something that Governor Ron DeSantis recently stated.
DeSantis caved to pressure to defend Trump and when he did, Schiff just about lost his mind.
Schiff even went so far as to call DeSantis a coward for doing it.
Anything to Get Elected
Listen, we all know what DeSantis is doing here.
He is playing the game in order to stop the attacks from the Trump campaign over this.
Schiff, who has defended Clinton and Biden corruption, took exception to DeSantis criticizing Bragg over the bogus charges.
DeSantis posted, “The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct.
“Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent.
“Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.”
Schiff responded, “It says also a lot about the state of the GOP, and that is you have to attack the justice system you have to speculate about motives, you have to assume the worst.”
Schiff continued, “And in that statement as well, you have to disregard the law – say won’t extradite someone accused of a crime in order to be competitive in the Republican primary.
“He goes beyond that and tries to tie George Soros to this, which is, you know, this not-so-thinly veiled antisemitic element that is very popular within certain portions of Trump’s base.”
I was not aware that revealing Soros was behind the election of Bragg is antisemitic, but that is par for the course these days with Democrats.
If they cannot make it about religion, gender, or race, they have no idea how to attack.
