Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) somehow managed to win a campaign against Trump-backed Dr. Oz without really campaigning.
Fetterman suffered a massive stroke and was challenged in both speaking and understanding after the stroke.
Then, after taking office, he was back in the hospital to be treated for depression.
Well, Fetterman is finally in office and things are not going so well.
He Should Be Home
This will be construed as picking on Fetterman, but that is not what is happening here.
Fetterman has been placed on some pretty important committees, even chairing one subcommittee.
However, the man cannot properly convey the spoken word yet, and this is a major issue.
Fetterman is the junior senator on the banking committee, which, considering a bank just collapsed and got bailed out by the government, is a pretty big issue.
Yet, when he “questioned” banking officials, this is what took place…
His office, of course, tried to defend this, stating, “For many months, we have been clear and open about the fact that John still faces challenges with auditory processing challenges as a result of his stroke.
“His doctors expect his abilities to improve, but in the meantime, if pathetic losers want to make fun of someone who struggles with speech as the result of a stroke, that’s up to them.”
Actually, Fetterman assured everyone that he would be 100 percent by the time he took office, and that is clearly not the case.
It is not poking fun at him to say he is incapable of carrying out his duties, which is clearly the case.
If he fell into depression before, what do think is going to happen if these types of videos continue to pop up and his performance is a constant F in the eyes of the media and the American people?
For his own mental and physical health, Fetterman should resign and allow the governor to name a replacement until another special election can be held.
Quite frankly, I don’t really care if the PA governor puts someone in there for the entirety of Fetterman’s term, but that man clearly is incapable of carrying out his duties and he must go.
