Back in 2015, Barack Obama commuted the sentence of a cocaine dealer, Alton Mills.
All the Democrats posed and talked about how this was a chance for someone that never should have been given such a sentence to get a fresh start in life.
Now Mills is facing three charges of attempted murder.
Nice Job, Obama
Mills was supposed to be serving a 22-year sentence when Barry came to his defense.
His new lease on life apparently involved pulling a gun on someone during a road rage incident.
Since Obama let him out of jail, Mills has been working for the Chicago Transit Authority.
He has also become an activist for early release of other prisoners.
Well, now he can work from the inside.
When Mills was initially arrested, he was a “victim” of the three-strikes law.
According to Senator Durbin (D-IL), someone that “only” made $300 a week selling coke should not be in prison for two decades.
You know how you don’t get sentenced to 22 years in prison for dealing drugs? You stop dealing drugs.
Democrats took up this fine citizen’s case and continued to press for his release until Obama got into office.
Then, on Obama’s way out the door, he let them all free.
