Christopher Michael Wright, 43, is dead today for doing the right thing.
His son got into a fight in school.
The individuals he was fighting with went to his home to continue the fight, then everything went sideways.
I Won’t Allow It
Wright was merely sticking up for his son and refusing to allow this fight to continue.
His son, who is 14 years old, got into an altercation as the Brooklyn Park Middle School with another teen.
The boys were going to continue the fight after school, but Wright was not going to allow it.
Three teens and two adults approached the home, asking Wright to let the boy come out for the fight, but he refused.
They warned him that if the boy did not come out, they were going to fight him.
Wright then proceeded to get beat to death.
When police arrived, Wright was already being treated by fire department personnel that had arrived at the scene prior.
He was then transferred to a local trauma center to be treated for what was being described as life-threatening injuries.
He died about four hours later, with the cause of death being reported as a traumatic brain injury.
No arrests have been made, and the Anne Arundel County Police are asking anyone with information on this to please contact them.
Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Marc Limansky stated, “Anyone who assisted who abetted or was an accomplice of the main suspect or the primary suspect will be culpable.”
Wright’s fiancé stated, “Just looking at the damage, that wasn’t just punching that did that.
“Like, there’s no way that punching did that.
“The damage was done before the ambulance ever took him away.
“He’d had a seizure. It was done.
“There was nothing the hospital could do.”
Quite possibly one of the worst ways to die… conscious, being beaten to death, knowing there is nothing you can do to stop it.
