The White House appears to be playing games with videos of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s briefings.
This has not been a good week for KJP.
That is especially true after yet another hostile exchange with reporter Simon Ateba.
This was an exchange that mysteriously disappeared from archives until the altered video was mentioned to the White House communications team.
Put It Back
Ateba has not been called on for months by KJP.
As he has done in the past, he shouted out a challenge to KJP on the matter.
What followed was a heated exchange between KJP and Ateba, but that exchange had been deleted.
The missing portion of the exchange was later added back, with the White House claiming it was a technical glitch responsible for it being missing.
On his constant battle with the White House, and KJP in particular, Ateba added, “I’m Black, I’m an immigrant and I’m the little guy… I’m just trying to do my job.”
Ateba also commented on the deleted feed, not buying that it was glitch.
He stated, “They blacklist you. They don’t respond to your question, they don’t respond to your email.
“And they don’t allow you to ask questions in the background.”
I don’t think anyone would argue with his assessment that this administration is very careful about who it calls on, usually only calling on “friendly” reporters.
Believe me, if Fox News was not a major outlet, Doocy would never get a question in.
