What has been our one concern since Joe Biden opened up the checkbook for Ukraine?

In one word… accountability.

Our concerns have been validated by a new report in the New York Times.

It’s Just Gone

We have no idea what Ukraine is doing with the billions of aid that we have sent to that country.

That would especially be true of the cash tagged for military contractors.

In the report, Ukraine officials admitted that the money “failed to produce weaponry or ammunition and that some money has vanished.”

The House Oversight Committee found, “Ukrainian government officials allegedly engaged in bribery, used government vehicles for personal use, and purchased inflated food supplies for Ukrainian forces.”

Anti-Corruption Action Center in Ukraine, Daria Kaleniuk, stated, “The question here is, ‘Where is the money?’

“Corruption can kill. Depending on how effective we are in guarding the public funds, the soldier will either have a weapon or not have a weapon.”

And yet, while all this is happening, Joe Biden wants more money for Ukraine.

He is now asking Congress to approve another $24 billion, like it is candy, to hand over to Zelensky and his corrupt government.

How about we find out where the money is going first and demand an accounting of every penny we have sent thus far?

But that would be common sense, something today’s political officials lack.
