Democrats were hoping to blame the break in of their Phoenix, Arizona, campaign headquarters on a MAGA Republican burglar. It turns out they were hit by an illegal alien. A professional at robbing commercial properties. He probably voted Democrat, by mail, too.
Burglar surprises victims
The Democrat candidate for Governor in Arizona, Katie Hobbs, was all set to pin the break in of her campaign headquarters on a deplorable republican burglar. The office invasion simply had to be a politically motivated one, she fumed.
Her and her staff were totally surprised when it turned out that the suspect arrested is “an illegal immigrant from Portugal who is wanted by immigration authorities.” That’s not real good for her dragging poll numbers. She wanted to pin it on Kari Lake.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents told reporters all about 36-year-old Daniel Mota Dos Reis. The civic-minded burglar happens to be “a citizen of Portugal who came to the United States as a registered student in 2018.”

That, ICE agents note, is a violation of “the terms of his admission.” It gives them a good reason to put him on a plane back to Portugal, after the judge in Phoenix gets done with him. If they can find him again, that is. He’s already running around loose.
According to ICE public affairs officer Yasmeen Pitts O’Keefe, not only is he a burglar, he’s “currently at-large for administrative immigration violations for failing to maintain his status as a registered student at an academic institution.”
Police arrested him on Thursday, October 27. He was only charged with the Hobbs campaign headquarters break-in and got “released on bond before an immigration detainer was issued.” Now, they’re looking for him again.
Dangerous misinformation
On October 26, Hobb’s office first announced the burglary and “attributed the crime to ‘dangerous misinformation‘ spread by her opponent, Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake,” Fox News reports. The burglar simply had to be a deplorable Trump supporter out to get Lake elected.
“Let’s be clear: For nearly two years, Kari Lake and her allies have been spreading dangerous misinformation and inciting threats against anyone they see fit. The threats against Arizonans attempting to exercise their constitutional rights and their attacks on elected officials are the direct result of a concerted campaign of lies and intimidation.”
It turns out that the hard fought democrat campaign to saturate America with illegal aliens of questionable integrity is really to blame.
The burglar was an illegal alien and Democrat prosecution policies put him back on the street before ICE could catch up to him. Police already knew Mota well.
As soon as Democrats plastered the picture of the burglar across TV screens, from surveillance video from the crime scene, one Phoenix Police officer “recognized a man in the video as a suspect who was arrested earlier for another unrelated commercial burglary.”
He wasn’t hard to track down. He was still in jail from the last burglary but “was scheduled to be released.” They contacted the jail just in time to get him booked in on fresh “third-degree burglary” charges for the HQ break in. Then they shook him loose before ICE could round him up.
