A top Democrat in Minnesota claims she was carjacked in front of her children and beaten.
She also happens to be one of the Democrats who was pushing the defund the police movement during the summer of 2020.

Shivanthi Sathanandan, the 2nd Vice Chairwoman for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, was very vocal about dismantling the police department.
During the summer of 2020, she had posted, “We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.
“Say it with me. DISMANTLE. The. Minneapolis. Police. Department.
“As allies, what can we do right now? LISTEN and LEARN from our Black siblings.
“And then AMPLIFY this message right now, in this moment.
“MPD has systematically failed the Black Community, they have failed ALL OF US. It’s time to build a new infrastructure that works for ALL communities.
“If you are still disagreeing with that BASIC FACT, I’m not sure what to say to you.”
She also celebrated the removal of police officers from schools.
Well, her attitude changed a bit after she was allegedly carjacked…
Maybe if the city has a little more money, there would have been police officers patrolling her street… just saying.
