I think the American public as a whole would agree that we need a strong military to help defend us against hostile forces. And while you’d think that would be a top priority for our government, unfortunately the Biden administration is too preoccupied with pushing ridiculous left-wing agendas instead of strengthening our defenses.
That’s why Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas proposed an amendment to the House spending bill which would strip federal funding from drag shows and “pride” events at the Department of Defense.
This move was meant to combat woke culture within the DOD and refocus its attention on what really matters: maintaining military readiness while defending our nation against hostile forces abroad.
Sadly, this amendment was defeated on the house floor by 231-202 votes due to 18 spineless Republicans who defected to join their liberal colleagues.
The Pentagon should be MORE focused on maintaining military readiness (like shoring up our intel) than hosting drag queen events and indoctrinating troops

Under the current administration, our military is more focused on pushing leftist ideologies such as LGBT than it is on maintaining its readiness and shoring up intel.
As if this wasn’t bad enough already, America now faces greater threats from Russia and China due to their increasingly aggressive postures towards Ukraine and Taiwan respectively.
These nations know that they can get away with making these moves because they have no respect for an American military preoccupied with forcing progressive agendas upon its members when it should be focusing on fighting enemy forces instead.
BREAKING: Eighteen House Republicans voted against an amendment from @RepChipRoy that would have defunded drag shows and pride month events at the Defense Department:

It’s extremely disappointing that these Republicans voted against something so commonsense; especially when one considers how fragile and dangerous our current international climate has become.
Issues like these are why conservatives have been crying out for years about getting actual tangible results from those elected into office – not just empty promises or rhetoric without any real action behind them.
It’s time for conservative lawmakers across America to work together towards restoring America’s strength by keeping our military focused on protecting us rather than wasting resources promoting left-wing social causes.
