A former Clinton pollster is not yet sold on Kamala Harris.
Harris has been flip-flopping all over the place and had been quite vague about her policies.
For that reason, former Clinton pollster Doug Schoen says he cannot support her campaign at this time.
Not Ready Yet
Shoen was recently on Fox News with Harris Faulkner to discuss the upcoming election.
She asked, “I remember when you make your political turn it was on a show I anchored on a prime-time weekend called ‘The Fox Report.’
“And you determined on that show on one night, on one Sunday night you would no longer vote for your friend and former wife of your employer Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. You couldn’t vote for her. Will you vote for Kamala?”
Schoen responded, “At this point, I cannot. I would call myself undecided at this point.
“But I can’t vote for her for reasons related to her change in position and also the Middle East as we have talked about before.
“I do not believe she is sufficiently committed to Israel and fighting antisemitism.”
This seems to be the problem with Harris in that people have not really heard her discuss her policies enough to make a decision, and when she does, she is very ambiguous about where she stands.
Harris is trying to win this election by being cute and funny, and it was initially working, but now people are looking for substance.
Even though most experts say she won the debate, they also noted that she did so without actually discussing her policies, usually avoiding the question asked with a dig at Trump.
As of this posting, Harris is holding a 2.6% edge in national averages and a 3% edge in the last two national polls.
It’s rather astonishing that half the people in this country are supporting this woman even though most of them cannot name an accomplishment or tell you one thing about her platform.
All they know is that she is not Donald Trump, and that appears to be good enough for them to pull the handle for her.
