An assassination attempt on Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky was foiled by a rat inside the Kremlin last week. A deep cover operative with Russia’s FSB Federal Security Service leaked the plot just in time. They’re the ones who took over the KGB. The press is reporting that tattling FSB “agents” who are “opposed to the war” dropped a dime on the hit squad.
Assassination boomerangs
On Saturday, February 26, Ukrainian forces announced that they smoked 56 tanks near Hostomel. What they didn’t say was that they turned the tables on an assassination attempt and killed the killers. Well, half of them. The other half are “at gunpoint.”
The group of specially trained Chechen assassins had orders to kill Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, his family, and anyone else high up in government they could get to.
The killers split into two assassination teams acting independently. One group gathered a convoy of more than 50 Chechen tanks and started rolling.
They were “eliminated” without mercy “after their plot was foiled, the head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council said Tuesday.”
Oleksiy Danilov’s announcement filled in gaps about what was known of the tank column’s demise. Initial reports were that the string of tanks destroyed by Ukrainian military near Hostomel were owned by Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov.
The battleground was just outside the main capitol of Kyiv. Now that the assassination threat has been neutralized, they can fill the public in on some details.

They came to kill
There is no doubt, Danilov explains, the “Kadyrov forces unit, which came to kill our President, was eliminated.” He wasn’t happy with Vladimir Putin or Ramzan Kadyrov.
“We will not give our president or our country to anyone. This is our land, get out of here.” Keeping Vlad’s tanks off the lawn isn’t going to be easy but Ukraine promises not to go down without a fight to the death. Nobody expects the assassination attempts to end with this either.
One of the killers and apparently the leader of the assassination team which got whacked turned out to be none other than top Chechen general Magomed Tushayev, head of the 141 motorized regiment of the Chechnya National Guard. He’s one of Kadyrov’s right hand men.
Kadyrov himself is described as “a former rebel-turned-Kremlin-ally.” All of the men killed were his. “Unfortunately, there are already losses among the natives of the Chechen Republic. Two died, six more were injured to varying degrees,” Kadyrov relates.
That’s the breaks in the assassination game, he observes. It’s a kill or be killed business. His Chechen fighters “chose to become heroes. Yes, they kill in war and that was their choice of profession.” Not one would hesitate to pull the trigger on one of Zelensky’s family members.
President Zelensky is well aware “that he is the Kremlin’s number one target and his family the second highest on Russia’s kill list.” He also told CNN that for security reasons, even he doesn’t know where his family is. He “had not seen his family in three days.“
