For years, there have been conspiracy theories surrounding the birthplace of Barack Obama.
In order to be president, you have to be a natural-born citizen of the United States.
Some believed, and still do, that it was not the case with Barack Obama.
Real or Fake
In 2011, a long-form birth certificate of Barack Obama was meant to put this conspiracy to rest.
Former Maricopa County Sherriff Joe Arpaio believes he debunked the idea of it being authentic.
Mike Zullo, head of the sheriff’s Cold Case Posse, stated, “We do not have a single document, absent that birth certificate which we do not believe was ever an authenticated document, that proves Mr. Obama’s birth in Hawaii or anywhere else in the United States for that matter.
“At this juncture, we have advised Sheriff Arpaio we believe there should be a full-blown criminal investigation because a fraud has been committed in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona.
“The document is fake. The representations, therefore, are fake.”
So, the mystery lives on.
This is something that will probably never be put to rest.
No matter how much proof is given one way or the other will never be enough to satisfy anyone.
