One of President Trump’s biggest critics has just found out that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Just moments ago, Chris Cuomo, the brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, announced that he has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Will Keep Going

Cuomo, even though he has tested positive and has not been feeling well, stated that he will continue to do his show from his home.

He has quarantined himself in his basement, so we would imagine that he will be setting up a makeshift studio there for the time being.

CNN announced that it sent a memo out to staff members advising them that Cuomo has tested positive.

CNN’s Brian Stelter wrote, “Like other media companies, CNN has implemented sweeping changes in response to the pandemic.

“The vast majority of CNN employees have been working from home for several weeks.

“Anchors have been broadcasting from small studios and home offices. And office spaces are being regularly cleaned.”

After the news broke, Governor Cuomo seemed to downplay the seriousness of his brother being infected.

He stated, “He’ll be fine, but there is a lesson in this.

“He’s an essential worker, a member of the press so he has been out there.

“You go out there, the chance that you get infected is very high.

“I spoke to him this morning and he’s going to be quarantined in his basement at home.

“He’s just worried about his daughter and his kids that he hope [sic] he did not get them infected.”

New York is by far the most impacted city in this country.

Of the 174,834 cases and 3,408 deaths currently reported, New York has 76,795 and 1,550 respectively, accounting for almost half of the cases in the country.
