Liberal Anderson Cooper used his title of CNN news anchor to make false claims and criticize President Trump with accusations of him “hijacking” a press briefing.
Mind you, this was the White House’s own coronavirus task force briefing that Cooper was referencing.
“If you tuned into it hoping you were going to hear from the country’s top scientists, you were likely disappointed,” Cooper stated. “What you mostly heard was the president. And what you saw was a hijacking. A hijacking of the task force press conference by a president determined to rewrite the history of his early and reprehensibly irresponsible response to this virus. What the president showed us today is what the nation’s top scientists have to deal with every day- a president who now uses these briefings as a reelection platform, an opportunity to lie, to deflect, to attack, to bully, and cover-up his own deadly dismissals of the virus for crucial weeks.”

Cooper VS Trump
Cooper took shots at the president saying he “attacked and belittled” reporters. The news anchor also praised the Obama-era Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services Christi Grimm. Grimm concocted a report that showed a nationwide testing shortage in hospitals.
“I just have to point out that this is not normal, and it matters because this is life or death,” Cooper angrily addressed the president.
CNN Refuses to Air White House Briefing
In all their bias, CNN has continuously decided to skip over the majority of President Trump’s prepared remarks at the beginning of each briefing.
This establishment media network tells viewers they are “anxiously” waiting to hear from the medical experts rather than hearing from the president of the United States. Two of their favorite voices to hear are Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, who have been front and center often over the past few months.
During one briefing in April, CNN failed to cover Vice President Pence’s remarks.
Another big CNN blunder occurred when Cooper stated on air that the Trump administration did not give a timeline for more personal protection equipment (PPE) to be provided.
“Nobody can give you a clear answer on, ‘OK, fine, we think there aren’t enough masks. By this date, there’s going to be this number of masks … of face shields available,'” Cooper said while speaking with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. “Where’s the timeline? Where’s the schedule?”
The RNC Defends Against CNN’s False Info
The Republican National Committee (RNC) quickly shot back after Cooper’s false info sharing. The RNC pointed out that if CNN actually covered the White House coronavirus task force briefing, they would have known that instead of reporting incorrect information.

“CNN’s Anderson Cooper claims no timeline for PPE has been provided after CNN refused to air press conferences during which military officers provided a timeline for PPE,” Steve Guest tweeted in defense.
President Trump and the establishment media had had a rocky relationship since before he was elected. The contrast between the media coverage former President Barack Obama was afforded versus Trump is staggering.
These are just a few examples of how, when people thought CNN could not sink even deeper into fake news, they did.
