When the Hunter Biden laptop story first emerged, more than 50 former intelligence officials penned a letter to debunk it.
These officers spanned several administrations, but they all had one thing in common… they did not want Donald Trump to remain president.
So, they penned a letter saying that the laptop fits the mold of Russian disinformation.
Bret Baier finally got one of them in the hot seat.
Arrogant and Smug
One of those signatures was from former CIA officer David Priess.
Priess knew when they put that letter out there, it would be used to push back against the New York Post story.
It was, with even Joe Biden and Jen Psaki regularly referring to the letter to deny the story.

Priess is just a liar, and you can hear the bewilderment and frustration in Baier’s voice during the interview.
None of those people examined the laptop, so they had no idea what type of information was on it.
They knew what they were doing when they put that letter out there, and it served its purpose.
Rather than apologize, Priess doubles down, even adding a snide comment at the end.
All he did was prove to every American this government cannot be trusted.
