Last week, the big story was the spy balloon that China sent over our country.
Joe let them see everything they wanted before shooting it down, but he did eventually shoot it down.
Now, China is making threats, demanding they get their balloon back, or least what is left of it.
It’s Not Yours!
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning is clearly losing her patience.
When asked about the balloon this week, she stated, “The Chinese side has given information about the unmanned airship on several occasions.
“I don’t have anything to add at the moment.”
When asked where the Chinese stand on getting the balloon back, she drew the line in the sand.
Mao stated, “The airship does not belong to the U.S. It belongs to China.
“The unmanned Chinese airship is of civilian nature.
“Its unintended entry into U.S. airspace is entirely unexpected and caused by force majeure.
“It didn’t pose any threat to any person or to the national security of the U.S.
“The U.S. should have properly handled such incidents in a calm and professional manner not involving the use of force, yet they decided to do otherwise, which is a clear overreaction.”
Call me cynical, but I just don’t see Joe standing up to China for that long, especially when they probably have a folder on his family that reads like “War & Peace.”
At some point, I see this going back to China.
