The Mayor of Washington, D.C., Muriel Bowser, is begging the National Guard for help after being flooded will illegal aliens. They’re supposed to be a sanctuary city and everything but they’ve reached the “humanitarian crisis” stage, as more arrive by the busload day and night.
Time to call the National Guard
If the nation’s capitol city doesn’t get some help from the National Guard real soon, the Mayor doesn’t know what she can do.
Texas and Arizona are exporting them by the busload, so she’s begging federal officials to let her use the D.C. Armory as a “processing center.” She also wants access to national resources “to help field migrants as they arrive by bus.”
Since the Biden regime refuses to lift a finger to secure our southern border, Texas Governor Greg Abbott chartered a convoy of buses. All he does is ask everyone being allowed unchecked entry if they want a free ride to Washington.

Since most are headed that way, they say sure. Doug Ducey in Arizona started the same program a week later. As soon as the sanctuary city got a taste of what liberal policies really mean, they yelled for the National Guard.
The mayor is convinced that “those entering the country are being ‘tricked‘ into coming to D.C. but stressed it is ‘a federal issue that demands a federal response.‘”
Sanctuary support for all the migrants as long as it doesn’t come form her budget. Meanwhile, migrants are feeling a little miffed at the treatment they have been getting and hope the National Guard will treat them better than Bowser.
Not even a bottle of water
Local volunteers have “welcomed new arrivals with food and shelter for months.” Then, they started to realize they weren’t getting any help from Joe Biden. “Washingtonians, as people, are here, present, but their government is not here,” Isaias Guerrero proclaimed, “as he welcomed and offered support to 70 migrants at Union Station” on Saturday.
“We don’t see anybody from Mayor Bowser’s office here. We don’t see anybody from the Office of Latino Affairs here to say ‘Welcome, how can we support you‘ even if it’s with like waters.” They need help from the Guard and fast.
Part of the problem is that Bowser and her city are already overwhelmed by homelessness. When the mayor showed up on Face the Nation, Bowser admitted that shifting illegals into the homeless shelters is a “significant issue.”
She and called on the federal government to get more involved. Joe created this mess and he should help clean it up. Send in the guard and get them to ship all those illegals to Ohio, or anywhere but D.C., she insists.
On July 19, Bowser wrote a letter to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, requesting “150 national guardsmen per day to assist the international nonprofit SAMU First Response, which receives federal dollars and supports the thousands of migrants bused to Union Station alongside local volunteers.”
Besides calling in the National Guard, she’s also asking for “the use of a federal location in the region where SAMU could offer immediate assistance to migrants, as well as transportation to that facility.” As it stands now, “nonprofit staff and volunteers meet one-on-one with migrants to go over their needs at Union Station’s food court.” Welcome to America.
