If I told you there was a House Homeland Security Committee meeting being held at the border to talk to the Border Chief, would you say that was a good idea?
I am going to assume that most of you would believe that was a great idea.
But guess what… the Dems did not because not a single one of them showed up for the hearing.

Rather than visit the border, talk to agents and residents, and actually see what is going on, Dems decided to call it a political stunt and boycott the hearing.
House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) was less than thrilled that Democrats decided to stay home on this one.
He stated, “It’s deeply disappointing that the minority members of the Committee have chosen to bail on this week’s full committee field hearing in Texas, only after they invited and confirmed a minority witness for one of the panels.
“The only message their absence sends is that they are uninterested in coming to the table to have a conversation about the devastation that this border crisis is having on Americans and their communities across the country.”
According to reports, many of them had actually made travel arrangements and were going to attend.
But, an order must have come down from high above that Biden and company wanted to tout this as a political stunt.
So, they all bailed and refused to attend.
One would think if they actually talked to border agents and the residents of these border towns, they may get a real picture of what is going on instead of the fantasy that Biden is pitching them.
