ICYMI – Dr. Anthony Fauci gave up the tapes on himself.
Just about everything he denied during congressional testimony, he admitted during the annual Atlantic Festival.
I would imagine that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is licking his chops right about now.
We Screwed Up
One of the bigger mistakes that was made, as we all know, was the delay in tests.
Fauci stated, “They did not get the commercial involvement in the tests quickly. They stuck to their own tests.”
That was not the big admission, though.
On the lockdown, Fauci stated, “Of course, when you make recommendations, if the primary goal when you’re dealing with a situation where the hospitals were being overrun in New York, intensive care units were being put in hallways, you have to do something that’s rather draconian.”
“And sometimes when you do draconian things, it has collateral negative consequences, just like when you shut things down, even temporarily, it does have deleterious consequences on the economy, on the schoolchildren. You know that.”
He continued, “But you have to make a balance when you’re dealing with — we know the only way to stop something cold in its track is to try and shut things down.”
Now, I could be wrong, but I kind of remember Fauci making the argument that they never shut things all the way down as well as no long-term harm coming to kids.
This clown is going down in a big way.
