It would appear that Fox News may have an additional problem from the sinking ratings.
Reports are surfacing that once Tucker Carlson gets up and running, some Fox talent may be jumping ship.
This is going to complicate things for Tucker as well, as he is still technically under contract with Fox News.
Big Problems
Fox has already slapped Carlson with a cease and desist, but he is clearly moving forward with his own project.
Carlson has done some shows on Twitter, but he plans on going full bore very soon.
Rumors are now floating that numerous Fox News anchors have reached out to Tucker to find out about joining his new media project.
The report stated, “Carlson’s Twitter move could have additional reverberations with talent at the network.
“A handful of Fox anchors have reached out to Carlson directly or had their surrogates contact him to say they are eager to join whatever venture he starts on Twitter when their contracts are up, according to sources.”
If this happens, expect an ugly legal battle between Fox News and Tucker Carlson.
Fox will know if they lose their top talent, their ratings will follow, and Fox is already struggling.
The network is still number one overall, but Sean Hannity’s show is tanking, relatively speaking, recently being outdrawn by Rachel Maddow about 2.4 million to 1.95 million.
Oh, by the way, that timeslot used to average about three million viewers, so there’s that too.
