I know a lot of you no longer watch Fox News, but Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) just landed a big win for MAGA.
Gaetz was on with Maria Bartiromo this weekend for what was a very hostile interview.
However, after being called out, Bartiromo has admitted that her opinion is “evolving” after her confrontation with Gaetz.
The Evolution
Bartiromo sounded like a spokesperson for House Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) rather than a journalist after the interview.
Gaetz hung tough, however, calling out McCarthy for little action being taken on some big promises.
Bartiromo was extremely agitated during the entire interview, more or less placing the shutdown in Gaetz’s lap.
After the interview, Bartiromo got blown up on social media, especially by Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.).
He posted, “The ad hominem attacks against @RepMattGaetz will undoubtedly persist, but his every point was perfectly stated and utterly inarguable.
“Let’s see a rational rebuttal.
“Maria is usually one of the best, but she could only sputter.”
Bartiromo responded, “@RepMattGaetz made a very good argument.
“And my thinking is evolving. I was happy to have him on.”
That is a big concession by Bartiromo and a massive hit for McCarthy, not to mention a rather significant win for MAGA.
Great job, Rep. Gaetz!
