What is the answer by Democrats when they are behind in a race?
Give something away, and that is what Harris is planning in this election to lure male black voters back into the fold.
The problem, however, is that some of those voters she is trying to lure back are feeling insulted.
Level Playing Ground
Most people just want a level playing field, and I don’t know a single person that objects to that.
Everyone is judged on abilities, nothing more.
Harris, however, is using the race card to try to draw in male black voters by promising one million $20,000 completely forgivable small business loans.
From the people I have spoken to, they say it makes them feel like she believes they cannot succeed on their own without the help of the government.
It is like their mother walking into their bosses office to stick up for them, and they don’t like it.
Even the people who support the program are trying to figure out why it took so long to get something like this on the books.
For instance, Mandela Barnes, the former lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, stated, “Wow, it’s the last three weeks. … Ballots are in mailboxes.
“We shouldn’t be here having to break the glass because we’ve reached the emergency point.”
Harris is way below the usual bar in terms of black voter support.
Just to give you an idea where she stands, Barack Obama had a rating of about +80 with black voters when he ran for office, which gives him about 90% support among black voters.
Kamala Harris is about +40%, which means she only has about 70%, giving Donald Trump 30%, which is a huge number for a Republican.
If Harris cannot get the black vote, there is no way she can win this election, which is why we are seeing her in trouble in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania right now.
