Donald Trump made up the most ground in this election when he is hammering policy and record.
When he starts to go after Harris or Biden on a personal level, his campaign stagnates.
Yet, that is what he had done again, attacking Harris on her mental fitness.
We Need Policy!
This just reminds me of the way Trump attacked Hillary in 2016, and while it worked then, the act is wearing thin on people now, especially undecided voters.
But, Trump’s base loves this type of stuff, so Trump will go off script occasionally to feed them a little.
In this case, Trump stated, “Crooked Joe Biden became mentally impaired.
“Sad. But lying Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way. There’s something wrong with Kamala. And I just don’t know what it is, but there is definitely something missing.
“And you know what, everybody knows it.”
Everyone gets a chuckle, but again, this has to be about the voters who are undecided right now, not the MAGA faithful.
Most people don’t want to hear personal insults or hear Trump discuss his legal problems.
Americans are getting killed in our streets, they are being attacked, and they are going broke due to the high prices of groceries and gasoline.
Pound those issues, bring up his record for when he was in office, and pound it into people’s heads what it will be like under his administration and what it was like before.
That is how we beat and chase these people out of the White House.
This is not just me saying this, as there are other Republicans close to Trump that know he cannot win the election by trading personal barbs with Harris.
For instance, Senator Graham (R-S.C.) stated, “I just think the better course to take is to prosecute the case that her policies are destroying the country.”
Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) added, “I think we should stick to the issues. The issues are, Donald Trump fixed it once. They broke it. He’s going to fix it again. Those are the issues.”
It’s great advice, and I really hope Trump follows it.
