Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) hit the ground running after being elected to office.
If you recall, during the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, he put together his own team to help people get out of the country.
More recently, he made headlines for calling out union officials, to the point of challenging them to a brawl in the cage.
Let’s Go!
Mullin, in case you did not know, is a former MMA fighter.
His career was short-lived, but he was undefeated in the three bouts that he had.
He made millions in the private sector, tens of millions more when he sold off his business.
Mullin and International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien have had several run-ins during Congressional hearings, so now Mullin wants to take it to the ring.
Mullin stated, “Too often, these big bully union bosses try to intimidate individuals and never get called out on it.
“I refuse to tolerate loudmouth bullies like O’Brien who got suspended over threats to his own union members, thinks unions ought to be ‘militant organizations’ and vilifies right-to-work states like Oklahoma – all while calling for fights on social media.”
Those comments came after O’Brien took another dig at Mullin on social media.
The Teamsters boss posted, “Greedy CEO who pretends like he’s self made.
“In reality, just a clown [and] fraud.
“Quit the tough guy act in these senate (sic) hearings.
“You know where to find me. Anyplace, Anytime cowboy.”
That led to this challenge…
An attention-seeking union Teamster boss is trying to be punchy after our Senate hearing. Okay, I accept your challenge. MMA fight for charity of our choice. Sept 30th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’ll give you 3 days to accept. pic.twitter.com/9WpvuTpDlG

O’Brien has not responded to the challenge as of yet, but I really hope he accepts the fight.
If he does, I would bet that he will be picking up some chicklets off the canvas because Mullin is no joke inside that octagon.
Let’s see if the Teamsters boss is willing to back up that big mouth of his now.
