Last week, the news world was all abuzz that presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard was suing Hillary Clinton for defamation.
Hillary is apparently worried about the lawsuit, because according to a New York Post report, Clinton has refused to accept the suit from a process server.
If I Just Ignore It…
Hillary is very fond of saying nobody is above the law, but that is exactly what she is trying to pull off by this ridiculous snub.
If Hillary had nothing to fear, why would she be so worried about accepting the notice from the process server?
According to the report, Hillary has snubbed the process server not once, but twice!
Brian Dunne, Gabbard’s attorney stated, “I find it rather unbelievable that Hillary Clinton is so intimidated by Tulsi Gabbard that she won’t accept service of process.
“But I guess here we are.”
Honestly, to me, it is not a surprise, because Clinton canceled an appearance soon after making her original comments about Gabbard where both were going to be present.
In Case You Missed It…
At the center of the lawsuit is a claim made by Clinton that Gabbard was functioning as a Russian asset.
Hillary made the very-much unfounded claim that Gabbard was being groomed by the Russians to run as an independent candidate in the 2020 election.
After Hillary’s comments, Gabbard stated, “I have dedicated my entire adult life to serving our country, and for Hillary Clinton and her powerful allies to attempt to smear me and accuse me — really implying that I’m a traitor to the country that I love — is something that I cannot allow to go unchecked.”
Hillary is now also dealing with the fallout from her comments about Bernie Sanders, having stated that “nobody likes him” and “he got nothing done” as a lifelong politician.
Oddly enough, Hillary also stated she would back Bernie Sanders if he won the general election simply to help get Trump out of office.
The Gabbard lawsuit is a $50 million defamation suit and no matter how hard Hillary tries, eventually, she is going to have to answer for her statements.
She has been throwing a lot of mud around about a lot of people, basically making up things as she goes along, and now she is actually going to have to show some proof, at least for what she said about Gabbard.
The only real question now remains is if our legal system will continue to protect Hillary or if she will finally be brought to justice.
